Le Cenacle

Akis-Studio hired me as a full-stack web developer to create the website for Le Cénacle, a non-medical retreat center. The goal was to develop a website that is both aesthetically pleasing, high-performing, and easy to manage.

Blocks Builder

To provide maximum flexibility in content management, we implemented a "Block Builder" system that allows easy modification of the website’s section layout. This feature was initially designed to enable maximum flexibility for site content, but in the end, it was decided to limit the available layout management actions to keep the CMS intuitive for the client.

Page Load Optimization

We developed a dedicated API for managing page content and its blocks. This API optimizes URL loading by delivering only the necessary data, reducing load times, and enhancing the user experience.


Optimized Image Management

The website highlights numerous images of Le Cénacle, showcasing the atmosphere and surroundings of the retreat center. To ensure optimal performance, we implemented an adaptive image management system:

- Automatic image resizing to fit different screen sizes.

- Image weight optimization without quality loss.

- Adaptive loading to improve speed and efficiency.

The client was very satisfied with the final result and noticed a significant increase in the number of visitors to the website. Additionally, the number of calls from potential clients interested in Le Cénacle’s services saw substantial growth, confirming the project's positive impact.
